Starting February 17th, 2022 they are kicking off the first Fortnite Champion Series (FNCS) of 2022! Players will get the chance to compete in the Chapter 3 Season 1 FNCS for a slice of the grand prize: $3,008,500.
- February 17th – 18th and February 19th – 20th: Qualifiers – There will be the same number of Qualifiers as last season, but the new Duos format means the top eight teams from each Qualifier will advance directly to the Finals.
- February 24th – 27th, 2022: Semi-Finals – Victory Royales and consistent performance are more important than ever this season! With three Sessions, teams will either need to win a game or be one of the top six most consistent teams to advance to the Finals.
- March 5th – 6th, 2022: Finals – The format will be similar to previous seasons, but with the new Match Point variable. A team can end the competition early by earning 500 total points and 3 Victory Royales. Once a team has met both of these thresholds, it will be declared the FNCS Champions.
Additionally, anyone can get into the FNCS spirit with the Community Cup on February 28th, 2022! This Duos event will have teams compete in 10 matches across three hours to try and earn the most points possible. The top-performing teams in each region will earn the FNCS 3:1 Champion Outfit and Winner’s Mark Back Bling.
