A free prologue to Pyramid Game’s Occupy Mars is being released on Steam today. Occupy Mars is an open-world, survival video game, in which you play as a colonist who has to withstand and tame harsh Martian conditions.
To survive on Mars:
Occupy Mars: The Game sends you on a challenging mission to the Red Planet, where you are supposed to conduct research and prepare the infrastructure for further colonization. As much as building and sustaining a fully operational planetary base is already a tremendous task to perform, your job will also require you to face and survive the most bizarre of Martian atmospheric phenomena. As if that were not enough, your basic physiological needs will always keep on driving you away from building and developing your colony.
Do not think that building a base on Mars is an easy job to do. Exceptional Martian conditions will force you to scout the terrain for the perfect spot, where you’ll be able to build your habitat. And even after you have managed to put up a sturdy structure, don’t forget that it needs to be maintained and upgraded every once in a while, lest it all falls apart.
The Prologue:
Occupy Mars: Prologue is going to be available on Steam on August 21st, giving you a unique chance to see for yourself what it’s like to live on the Red Planet. The prologue tells the story of a short single mission that takes place before the events of the full game. Your participation and feedback from the prologue will help the developers improve Occupy Mars and plan its release.
The Early Access release of Occupy Mars: The Game for PC is scheduled for late 2020.
