Absolute Drift: Zen Edition Slides to PS4 This Summer

Posted by  Programmer, Race the Sun on PlayStation

Hey everyone, today we’re announcing Absolute Drift: Zen Edition for PS4, a collaboration between Flippfly and Funselektor Labs.

For those of you who are familiar with Flippfly’s Race The Sun, you’ll understand why we were really attracted to Absolute Drift’s minimal aesthetic, and why we wanted to help bring the game to PS4.

I mean, just look at it!

The game is all about becoming a master at the art of drifting. Dune at Funselektor Labs created the perfect blend of minimalist art and challenging gameplay, and we couldn’t be more excited to work with him on this special edition of the game for PS4.

Here are a few of the things you’ll be doing in the game:

Drifting to raise your score and multiplier

Drifting past clipping points, (without touching them!)

And scoring massive points on the all new “Drift Lines”

And here are the types of environments you’ll be playing in

Exploring the vast “Free Roam” area that acts as the game’s hub

Competing on the game’s 10 Drift Tracks

Flying down one of 4 Mountain Drift courses

Doing crazy moves on 9 “Gymkhana” courses

And testing your skills on one of 5 all-new “Midnight Events,” which will challenge the most experienced drifters!

Each event in the game has its own leaderboards, as well as a set of challenges that will guide you along your path to becoming a master drifter. You’ll be able to drift against ghosts of the top players, and watch replays of your event runs to learn how to perfect your skills for next time.

The journey from apprentice to master drifter is an experience we can’t wait to share. Absolute Drift: Zen Edition slides onto PS4 this summer.
