“When you are free, there is no failure, only forward.” Those are the words Ubisoft CEO & Co-founder Yves Guillemot used to close the E3 conference and introduce the video below.
Flanked by the conference’s speakers, Yves took to the stage to deliver the ‘one more thing’ that is traditionally reserved for a game. But for Ubisoft’s 30th birthday, it was a perfect opportunity to deliver a different type of message. Turning 30 is a big deal. It’s a perfect opportunity to look back and towards the future with a deep understanding of what makes you tick and where you are going. So what makes Ubisoft tick? Using our imagination, exploring, creating, taking leaps of faith, making mistakes, learning from them, and having a flipping blast while we’re at it. It’s how we make our games and how we hope you’ll play them. And where is Ubisoft going? Forward of course… always forward and you’re invited.
