UDX Interactive is excited to announce that the AI-driven fantasy RPG Wheel of Fate is now available on Steam Early Access. As a day-one funded Kickstarter, Wheel of Fate has been highly anticipated by fans. Designed by Mass Effect 2 veteran Mike Holmes, Wheel of Fate features an Active Battle Response system as well as an in-depth AI which adapts to players’ gameplay and changes the world around them, making every playthrough different from the last.
Wheel of Fate transports players to the fantasy world of Providence where they’ll begin their journey in the sleepy town of Kismet’s Fall. In a time where threats of the past have long since become legend, players will reawaken the Wheel of Fate and with it an ancient force known as the Fateless. Setting the wheel in motion will cause the world to change and adapt to players. Each spin of the wheel will adjust loot, enemy difficulty, NPC reactions and more.
As players progress through Wheel of Fate they’ll upgrade the town of Kismet Fall, allowing them to prepare for sieges from the Fateless. Along with upgrading their town, players will also gear up their character. Featuring billions of gear combinations, Wheel of Fate allows players to build their Avatar of Fate to reflect their play style of choice. Wading into battle, players will take part in turn-based combat which features an Active Response Battle system. The fates will also play a part in every encounter as the Wheel of Fate is constantly moving, resulting in varied combat as well as enemy difficulty.
