We are excited to announce that NRG is opening up their castle in downtown LA for the first-ever “NRG Champions Show, featuring Fortnite” on Tuesday. It’s an all-star invitational for the world’s best Fortnite players. Would love to see if you’d be the right person to connect with.
Twelve players from across the globe are flying to LA to get insider access to the NRG Hot Pockets Castle, which is a production studio-meets-play-space that will be the competition HQ for this event. Also, true to the intersection of gaming, music, and sports, there will be a performance by Jx Zero and in lieu of victory cash prizes, the champion will receive a specially-designed trophy and every participant a commemorative treasure chest (full of unique gifts & perks like customized AF1’s, Dodger suite tix and more). We’ll also have content creators on-site to capture the whole experience. NRG is excited to create this event and platform for gamers to be a part of both the live & streaming worlds, meet fellow gamers IRL, and also tap NRG’s resources to build a career as a professional gamer. For many of them, it’s their first time attending an event since the two-year lockdown and first time overseas!
