Key Features of the Update:

  1. Ownable Gas Cisterns: Players can now transport their own gas cisterns, which come in various lengths, chassis, and customization options. The cisterns are designed to carry hazardous and flammable gases such as Ethane, Propane, and LPG. The Ownable Gas Cisterns are available as a single or B-Double trailer with five chassis types and over 50 accessories.
  2. World Ambient Sounds: Sound scatter technology through FMOD has been introduced to create a more immersive environment. Players will notice various SFX coming from different directions and distances. Additionally, a directional filter for trucks has been implemented, which adjusts sound engine equalization based on the current camera view.
  3. Adaptive Cruise Control & Emergency Braking System: This update brings the Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and Emergency Braking System (EBS) features, which were originally introduced as experimental features in version 1.44. ACC adjusts distance and speed from the vehicle ahead when in cruise control mode, while EBS activates the brakes when a collision is imminent.
  4. Custom City Intros: Following the introduction of custom city intros for Colorado and Wyoming, Utah and Idaho DLCs now also feature these cutscenes that play when selecting a starting city in a new profile.
  5. Uneven Surface Simulation: The 1.47 update introduces procedurally generated uneven surfaces, creating a more realistic driving experience. Although these bumps may not be visible, players will feel and sometimes hear their effect on the vehicle while driving.
  6. Career History UI Redesign: The Career History UI has been revamped to provide a more detailed look into players’ statistics and previous deliveries. It now includes four sections: Deliveries, Exploration, Driver Experience, and Penalties, offering a comprehensive review of a player’s truck driving journey.
  7. In-Game Update Log: A new UI feature has been added to both American Truck Simulator and Euro Truck Simulator 2, displaying the changelog of major updates or showcasing the features of a DLC release.
  8. Economy Reset Teleport: Players can now choose a free quick travel to any service station after a game change is detected, instead of being teleported to their HQ garage.
