ARMORED CORE VI: Fires of Rubicon takes players to the remote planet, Rubicon 3, where a mysterious new substance called “Coral” has been discovered. Initially thought to revolutionize humanity’s technological and communications capabilities, Coral instead triggers a catastrophe that engulfs the planet and surrounding stars in flames and storms, creating a Burning Star System. Half a century later, Coral resurfaces on the contaminated planet, sparking a fierce battle for control between extra-terrestrial corporations and resistance groups.
Players step into the role of an independent mercenary infiltrating Rubicon 3, finding themselves embroiled in a struggle for control over Coral.
