ARVORE, the immersive storytelling VR/AR company today announced the launch of long-awaited virtual reality game Pixel Ripped 1989. The critically-acclaimed game is available on PlayStation VR (North America), Oculus Rift and HTC Vive for a limited time launch discount of $19.99, saving a total of 20% off of the full $24.99 USD price. Pixel Ripped 1989 is also coming to PlayStation 4 users globally and in the EU in the very near future, and fans are encouraged to follow @PixelRipped on twitter for release date details as they become available in the near future. The title has also recently been nominated on the shortlist for GAME OF THE YEAR by the VR AWARDS 2018 which will be held this October in London. First conceived and created as a student game by Ana Ribeiro and co-developed by São Paulo-based ARVORE, the game has been a multi-year, multi-continent passion project, and marks the first title brought to market by ARVORE.
Early reception for Pixel Ripped 1989 has been overwhelmingly positive.
