The team here at Intrepid has been excited to share our development progress with you all each month as we get closer and closer to our next test session, and we appreciate everyone’s positive feedback on our new live stream format. It’s with this feedback that in June, we continued to move forward utilizing the same show flow.
In last month’s live stream, Steven Sharif (Creative Director), Jeffrey Bard (Lead Designer), and Margaret Krohn (Community Marketing Lead) are joined by some new faces – Mark Storch (Lead Architect), Garrett Fern (Senior Game Designer), and Chris Atkins (Lead Character Artist), along with the much-loved Michael Bacon (Lead Environment Artist), providing a development update on engineering, design, environment art, and character art.
As we press forward developing one of the most ambitious MMORPGs in creation, we will introduce you to more of our team and continue to provide you with spotlights from various departments each month. We would love for you to tune in live on Twitch or watch via YouTube if you can’t make it to the live show.
We also released a new article this month with a video showing off the creation of the Fellbeak Macaw. In this article, you read the journals of a Kaelar explorer who discovers these vicious creatures for the first time!
Plus, we got an inside look at the process of creating animations with Brad Constantine (Senior Animator) in the latest Developer Diaries video. Additionally, Jeffrey Bard provided details on how the design team cooperates with the animation team as they make the world of Verra come to life.
