Ashes of Creation: PAX Recap – Half a Million, Demo Footage, and Alpha One Release Date

One week later, it doesn’t seem possible, but PAX East 2018 is in the books and the Ashes of Creation team is hard at work on making the MMORPG of our dreams once more. The Boston-based gaming convention was a huge success for Intrepid Studios, where thousands of fans gathered around the booth, some waiting as long as four hours to get their hands on an early build of the game.

“Being able to interact with our amazing community at events like PAX, is vital to the project and our team. We are building an MMORPG that players can be proud of and we want them with us every step of the way to share in this amazing experience.” -Steven Sharif, CEO & Creative Director

There were a few notable bits of news out of the show for us, and we wanted to make sure we recapped them here for you all:

  • 500,000 people have now registered to be a part of the Ashes community
  • We showed off our Pre-Alpha in its entirety on YouTube
  • We invited everyone in attendance at our PAX East panel into our current Pre-Alpha Testing
  • And MOST importantly – we announced that the first phase of our “Alpha One” begins in Q4 of 2018.

It won’t be long now before hordes of Ashes fans get their first taste of life in Verra, and we can’t wait to let influencers and press in on the action as well as there will be no NDA during the Phase One of Alpha One early tests. We believe in transparency and community-based development and feedback, and we mean it!
