“Bacon Man has the brutal gameplay difficulty of platformers like Mega Man X paired with the cartoonish charm of cooky, irreverent games from the ’90s and early 2000s — cult classics like Earthworm Jim and Conker’s Bad Fur Day come to mind,” explains Braxton Burks. “To match the zaniness of the game’s themes, we wrote a soundtrack that is equally bonkers. Underlying most of the soundtrack is a bombastic orchestra sound, but genre-wise, we go all kinds of places. Wagnerian orchestra, Grant Kirkhope-esque diddies, EDM, funk, rock… you name it, they made us write it.”
Bacon Man is a full 3D side-scrolling action platforming game. It mixes fighting, shooting, and physics-based abilities to create a challenging experience in a beautifully rendered world inspired by the food groups.
