Bethesda E3 2019 Highlights

Bethesda has had a falling out with a lot of displeased fans from Fallout 76. There are still fans who enjoy that game, but a few diehard fans were still unhappy with it. Well … Bethesda had some words to say about that with updates to the game. Bethesda also had additional titles to showcase. Check out the list below for the highlights.

Elder Scrolls: Blades (Bethesda)
An update to the game is available now for free for iOS and Android users. Elder Scrolls: Blades was also announced to come out on the Nintendo Switch in the fall of 2019 and is still going to be free.

Fallout 76 – Year Two Expansion (Bethesda) – Fall 2019
The Fallout 76 developers provided information regarding the game that many were displeased about. They came out fighting, advising that they are working to fix what players were complaining about. NPC’s are coming back giving access to provide a new main quest with choices and consequences. There will also be new weapons and gear.
Nuclear Winter was also announced … that is a free-for-all battle royale game that will have 52 players claim their spot as overseer. This new battle royale mode will have a sneak peek starting June 10th through the 17th.

Ghostwire Tokyo (Tango Gameworks)
The creator of Resident Evil and The Evil Within has a new game in store for us. The trailer showed off people suddenly disappearing in Tokyo. Unfortunately, there was no information as to what else to expect. However, it looks like departure of the survival-horror aspect thus making this an action-adventure game.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Elsweyr (ZeniMax Online Studios) – Available Now
Dragons have finally come to the MMORPG in this new expansion!

Commander Keen (id Software)
The classic platformer game that was released in the early 90’s is getting revived. Although, it looks like it’s getting revived as a free-to-play mobile game for iOS and Android devices.

Rage 2: Rise of the Ghosts Expansion (Avalanche Studios, id Software)
The latest expansion will be bringing new enemies, vehicles, weapons? and more to the zany post apocalyptic world of Rage 2.

Wolfenstein: Youngblood (Arkane Studios, MachineGames) – 07/26/2019
The first modern co-op Wolfenstein adventure to kill Nazi’s.

Deathloop (Arkane Lyon)
The creators of the Dishonored franchise surprised gamers with a stylized trailer — and has intrigued many. This first-person action game will transport players to a lawless island with an eternal struggle between two extraordinary assassins.

Orion Cloud Gaming System
During the Bethesda showcase, they announced a software platform that will dramatically improve cloud gaming performance called “Orion.” It will provide gamers with a higher-quality experience that’s accessible on slower internet speeds. Bethesda has said they will be opening a limited beta test later this year.

Doom Eternal (id Software) – 11/22/2019
Bethesda closed the show by showing off the intense, demon killing, action of Doom Eternal. Not only did they show off the shooting galore of demons, they displayed what the platform abilities a first-person game is capable of. Imagine playing a Super Mario game with a hellish demon theme, and you got Doom Eternal … where you get to collect 1up and power-ups jumping around on different platforms while traversing the world.
