Today on Xbox Wire, Xbox’s Phil Spencer announced Xbox has completed the acquisition of ZeniMax Media, the parent company of Bethesda Softworks. Xbox welcomes eight incredibly talented development studios including Bethesda Game Studios, id Software, ZeniMax Online Studios, Arkane, MachineGames, Tango Gameworks, Alpha Dog, and Roundhouse Studios – and their passionate player communities – to the Xbox family.
This is an exciting day for Xbox. Today we officially complete the acquisition of ZeniMax Media, the parent company of Bethesda Softworks.
