Big Blue Bubble is proud to announce the launch of our new mobile game Home Arcade. Home Arcade was designed as part of a company wide game jam that brought together the entire Big Blue Bubble studio to create new games based on the retro systems and aesthetics they grew up with.
Packed with 10 games on launch, Home Arcade is a collection of 8-bit, 16-bit, and classic arcade style games based on popular home computers and consoles like the Commodore 64, NES, Master System, and Classic Gameboy . From shoot ‘em ups to platformers, and side scrolling action games there’s something for everyone in the Home Arcade.
Skilled players won’t have to worry about their quarters when they play Home Arcade, because beginning a new game is absolutely free. Extra lives will cost digital coins that can be earned or purchased in game. This means the Home Arcade calls back to the play styles of retro gaming, rewarding skill and timing, while allowing those who just want to push to the end a chance to continue their games for a cost.
