Pearl Abyss today launched a massive update for Black Desert on Xbox and PlayStation, adding both the Great Expedition and the Sycraia Underwater Ruins, a new high-level grinding spot. This update includes new questlines, player-captained ships with unique upgrade paths, a bartering system, and numerous in-game events.
In the Great Expedition, Adventurers now have the opportunity to explore the open ocean as the captain of their own vessels. Hunting sea monsters, searching for treasure, battling other ships in naval warfare are all on the agenda!
The Underwater Ruins of Sycraia brings a new endgame challenge to high-level players. These wonders of a flooded civilization are monsters, ancient weapons, and a new boss: Sycrid, a massive sea monster that guards the valuable treasure.
A reminder was also issued that the account transfer deadline for Black Desert Online (PC) is fast approaching. Adventurers have until May 31st, 2021 to transfer their accounts or they will lose their data.
