BLAST Premier Reveals Details on Global Spring Qualifiers 2022

Eight spots up for grabs in the Spring Showdowns where teams will compete for a $135,000 combined prize pool.

BLAST Premier has announced plans for an expanded global Spring Qualifiers, which will span four continents and will be open to over 100 countries with eight spots available in the Spring Showdowns.

BLAST Premier’s Qualifier Series returns in 2022, giving teams from all over the world, no matter how big or small, a chance to compete for a spot in the regional Spring Showdown events and face-off against the world’s best teams.

The eight qualifiers will be run by leading regional BLAST partners in March and April. These events will consist of eight teams competing across three-day tournaments.

Qualification for the eight spots will be organized through these partners in the form of existing tournaments, local leagues, open qualifiers, and direct invites in the following regions: South America, North America, Iberia, Eastern Europe, Western Europe, Nordics, CIS, and South East Asia.

BLAST Premier Spring Qualifiers overview:

  • Firesports Latin Power (South America): March 11th – 13th, 2022
  • RTP Arena Cup (Iberia): March 18th – 20th, 2022
  • TWR Eastern European Masters (Eastern Europe): March 18th – 20th, 2022
  • Pelaajat Nordic Masters (Nordics): March 18th – 20th, 2022
  • MESA Nomadic Masters (South East Asia): March 21st & 23rd (online) & 26th (LAN), 2022
  • WePlay CIS Masters (CIS): March 25th – 27th, 2022
  • FantasyExpo EU Champions (Western Europe): March 25th – 27th, 2022
  • Ace North American Masters (North America): March 28th – 30th, 2022
  • More regions, countries, and qualifiers will be announced for the Fall Qualifiers in August.

Teams will be competing for a place in the Spring Showdowns (April 27th – May 1st, 2022), which are split across two regions in Europe and North America/Rest of the World and will be played online – giving more teams and territories a chance to compete in BLAST Premier events than in previous years.
