Polish independent studio Simplicity Games is set to launch their latest creation, Brain Show, on June 7th, 2023. Brain Show is a quiz-party game designed for up to eight players and will be available on both PC and Nintendo Switch platforms. With its diverse range of game modes and thousands of questions spanning various categories, Brain Show aims to provide an engaging and entertaining experience for players.

Drawing inspiration from classic quiz shows and popular titles like Knowledge is Power and Buzz!, Brain Show presents a light-hearted quiz formula that combines knowledge, reflexes, and a touch of luck. Simplicity Games, known for their mobile and Nintendo Switch games such as Volleyball Challenge and Ski Jump Challenge, takes on a new venture with Brain Show, catering to parties, gatherings, and enjoyable moments with friends and family.

Tomasz Dyrak, the CEO of Simplicity Games, highlights the uniqueness of Brain Show, stating, “Our new game can be seen as a spiritual successor to games like Knowledge is Power, Buzz!, or Big Brain Academy, but also to various TV shows, including those with pretty crazy rules. We have prepared 13 different game modes, and each of them has something unique about it. The gameplay is, of course, based on competition, so it provides great excitement and fun, and by the way, you can also expand your knowledge on various topics.”

The heart of Brain Show lies in its extensive question database, boasting over 5,000 questions categorized into 41 thematic areas. From movies and games to music, fairy tales, internet culture, politics, computer science, animals, literature, and even culinary topics, players can expect a wide range of engaging content that tests their knowledge and provides opportunities for learning.

One of the standout features of Brain Show is its strongly differentiated game modes. For example, the “Race Against Time” mode rewards the player who can provide the correct answer the fastest, while “High Stakes” challenges players to bet their points, gaining or losing based on their answer accuracy. Other intriguing categories include “Vacuum Cleaner,” “Dynamite,” and “Balloon Fight,” each adding its own twist to the gameplay.

Brain Show is designed with local multiplayer in mind, allowing for simultaneous play with two to eight people. Additionally, the Steam version of the game supports the “Remote Play Together” feature, enabling players to join in over the internet even if they don’t own a copy themselves.

At launch, Brain Show will be available in two language versions, English and Polish, each with full voiceover support. The developers have also incorporated region-specific questions to cater to players in different language zones.

Key Features of Brain Show:

  • A captivating quiz and party game experience
  • Up to eight players can participate simultaneously
  • 13 diverse and unique competitions to choose from
  • Light-hearted and humorous atmosphere
  • Over 5,000 questions covering 41 thematic categories

Excitement is building as the release date for Brain Show on PC (Steam) and Nintendo Switch approaches. Gamers eager to test their knowledge and enjoy a fun-filled experience with friends should mark their calendars for June 7th, 2023, when Brain Show will be available to purchase and play.
