Christina Seelye has been named the winner of a Gold Stevie® Award in the Female Entrepreneur of the Year category in the 15th annual Stevie Awards for Women in Business. Additionally, Christina took home the silver award for Maverick of the Year.
Hailed as the world’s premier business awards, The Stevie Awards for Women in Business honor women executives, entrepreneurs, employees, and the companies they run — worldwide. This year’s awards were presented to winners this past Friday during an event attended by nearly 600 people at the Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel in New York City.
More than 1,500 entries were submitted this year for consideration in more than 90 categories, including Executive of the Year, Entrepreneur of the Year, Company of the Year, Startup of the Year, Women Helping Women, and Women Run Workplace of the Year. Christina Seelye, founder and CEO of Maximum Games, won the top award in the Female Entrepreneur category for Consumer Products among companies with 11-2,500 employees, as well as the silver award for Maverick of the Year.
