With the imminent launch of Close to the Sun across PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch platforms on October 29th, including the Collector’s Edition, publisher Wired Productions and developer Storm in a Teacup have teamed up with Tesla coil music video maestro, Fabrício H. To celebrate the upcoming multi platform release, and as part of Wired’s commitment to deliver outstanding physical products, a limited Collector’s Edition has been produced to release alongside the standard physical edition of the game. With only 1,000 pieces produced, the Close to the Sun Collector’s Edition is available to pre-order now from the Wired Productions Store.

Grounded in an alternative 19th Century where famed inventor and futurist Nikola Tesla was able to fulfil his potential and change the world forever, Close to the Sun sees players step aboard the Helios, a colossal vessel for scientific research, steeped in horror and mystery. As the heroine, Rose, players find themselves walking the massive area looking for their lost sister on the majestic, yet mysterious, ship created by Tesla. Where is Ada and what happened? Grand halls stand empty. The stench of rotting flesh lingers in the air. Silence. A single word is painted across the entrance… QUARANTINE!

Close to the Sun is set to release on October 29th on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch; and currently available on the Epic Games Store.
