The creators of Job Simulator and Vacation Simulator bring their signature flair to an out-of-this-world, alien high school – coming to SteamVR and Oculus Quest Spring 2022.

Hailing from Owlchemy Labs, developer of popular and award-winning titles ‘Job Simulator’ and ‘Vacation Simulator’, comes an original creation for the books—the comically catastrophic Cosmonious High! Cosmonious High will launch on Oculus Quest and SteamVR headsets in Spring 2022. Owlchemy Labs expands its signature focus on immersive and inclusive experiences, pairing it with the studio’s distinctive charm and humor.

In Cosmonious High, players crash-land into their first day at an alien high school. This welcoming place is alive with interactive characters and quirky creatures but plagued by mysterious malfunctions. It’s up to the player to explore Owlchemy’s largest world yet and discover what’s causing all the chaos.

“With Cosmonious High, we’re breaking all the bounds. Players can go anywhere, interact with any character they see, and use their powers to resolve—or cause—as much chaos as they want,” said Chelsea Howe, Product Director at Owlchemy Labs.

The colorful, space-age setting is filled with familiar high school places and faces—with a cosmic twist. Players can interact with the rich world, dynamic characters (high-five!), and a plethora of class activities to unlock new powers and restore Cosmonious High to its former glory.

“We always pride ourselves in creating experiences that players can immerse themselves in while also injecting our own brand of humor and style. I believe we are doing just that with Cosmonious High; its world will feel familiar to our long-time fans and welcome new players,” Andrew Eiche, COOwl (Chief Operating Owl) of Owlchemy Labs, said.

“Cosmonious High encapsulates our core pillars of interaction, inclusivity, and accessibility. We continue to push the boundaries of VR and we cannot be more excited to launch our first new IP in five years,” added Devin Reimer, CEO (Chief Executive Owl) of Owlchemy Labs.
