cyberpunkdreams has grown massively since its release on Steam one year ago and continues to thrive.
Independent studio Late Night Games is pleased to announce that its free-to-play narrative RPG, cyberpunkdreams, is fast approaching its first release anniversary, on May 14th, 2022. When the game was first announced, Late Night Games said that it plans to support the game continuously, with new updates and content.
Anniversary event
Late Night Games is celebrating the first anniversary with a week-long in-game event that will be open to all players, starting on May 14th, 2022:
- The much-coveted Sinzil Crimson X, the phone only previously available during our launch event, will become findable again for one day only. Slightly over 1,200 players found the Crimson X during the launch.
- A new story, “The traitor you choose”, will be available to start during the event, but with no pressure to finish it.
- A new weapon to find.
- And perhaps more…
A new phone, the Akizowear Zone One, will also be available to Discord members throughout the event.
The future
In many ways, this is still just the beginning for cyberpunkdreams. Over the coming months and years, Late Night Games will continue full support for the game with a program of planned updates, including major new storylines, continuation of existing storylines, more detailed interactions with NPCs, and new multiplayer features. There are also plans for entirely new projects, such as a graphic novel and standalone game, set within the cyberpunkdreams universe.
