DANGEN Entertainment of Osaka, Japan has released a video with famed creator Koji Igarashi playing the publisher’s newly released game, Minoria. Joined by Ben Judd, the two discuss game design, indie games, Bloodstained, and Minoria, providing fans with a unique insight into the man behind the game… and his gaming skills!
Koji Igarashi, known for his work on the Castlevania series, launched a very successful Kickstarter campaign for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night that raised over 5.5 million dollars and provided fans with a fresh, Castlevania-inspired game they had long been waiting for. Through IGA’s Kickstarter experience, he came to know his fan community and has demonstrated respect for indie game creators. In this video, IGA is joined by DANGEN Entertainment’s head and collaborator through DDM, Ben Judd, as they play through the early parts of the Minoria, discussing game design and approach in the ‘IGAvania’ genre.
Minoria is indie creator Bombservice’s latest creation, an inspirational sequel to their Momodora-series, and was released worldwide for PC on August 27th.
