Phoenix Labs, the independent studio made up of former BioWare, Riot and Capcom devs, brought their PC co-op action-RPG, Dauntless, to PAX South from January 12-14 2018. We had a chance to join the Phoenix Labs development team for a special VIP hands-on group hunt against two brand new Behemoths and experience Dauntless like never before.
In addition to the new Behemoths, the demo will include new enhanced combat, a brand new weapon class with the War Pike, advanced character creation mechanics and plenty more. The game feels great right now! Its smooth like butter, gameplay, servers, graphics, sound are looking and feeling like a finished product. We could all use a new GOOD MMORPG right about now lets hope Dauntless fits the bill!
