Davey Todd Shares Enthusiastic Insights on TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge 3

Acclaimed British motorcycle rider Davey Todd recently had the opportunity to experience NACON and RaceWard Studio’s upcoming game, TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge 3. The renowned Tourist Trophy competitor visited NACON Studio Milan to test the game and provided valuable feedback from a professional rider’s perspective. TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge 3 will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch starting May 11th, 2023.

Todd spent several hours playing the game and expressed his positive impressions. He stated that the TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge series has become an invaluable tool for his career, as it allows him to study the official Tourist Trophy course in detail. The latest installment continues to use laser scan technology to recreate the course on a 1:1 scale, enabling professional riders like Todd to memorize the challenging bends of the world’s most dangerous motorbike competition.

According to Todd, the TT games play a significant role in his preparation for the Isle of Man TT, keeping the course fresh in his mind. He credits his hundreds of hours playing the game with helping him achieve better results during his first race. Todd’s gaming performance impressed the developers as well.

TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge 3 features enhanced motorcycle physics for a more realistic riding experience. Todd expressed his excitement about the game, stating that the bikes’ behavior on realistic mode with realistic settings closely resembles real life.

Players can look forward to a host of new features and content in TT Isle of Man: Ride on the Edge 3, including the official Tourist Trophy course, 200km of drivable roads with points of interest and challenges, 32 different circuits, nearly 40 Superbike and Supersport motorbikes, over 20 official riders, and improved physics for more accurate cornering and braking. The game also offers a wide range of motorbike upgrades, an “Open Roads” feature for free exploration of the Isle of Man, 11 different types of activities (two of which can be customized), multiplayer options, and online competitions with weekly and monthly events. Furthermore, the game is cross-gen compatible, meaning that purchasing any version of the game grants access to both next-gen and old-gen versions for the same platform.
