Digital Extremes Celebrates Warframe’s 10-Year Anniversary with Fan-Focused Activations and Rewards, Leading Up to Tennocon.
Digital Extremes, the global games developer and publisher, recently marked the 10-year anniversary of Warframe with a special anniversary livestream on Twitch. The event celebrated the game’s decade-long legacy, and unveiled what the Canadian studio has in store for anniversary celebrations in 2023.
The livestream featured Warframe’s original dev crew, including Rebecca Ford, Steve Sinclair, Geoff Crookes, Scott McGregor, Megan Everett, and Digital Extremes COO Sheldon Carter. They provided Warframe’s 70+ million global registered players with a sneak peek at what they can expect from the game in the coming months, including bi-weekly in-game rewards and TennoCon 2023 physical ticket sales.
The celebration kicked off with bi-weekly in-game rewards that will run through Friday, June 2nd, offering fans months of opportunity to celebrate the iconic milestone with Digital Extremes. The rewards will cycle through new and returning fan-favorite login rewards, including Warframe Dex Skins, Armor, Ephemera, Weapons, and more. Varzia’s Shop, located in Maroo’s Bazaar, will also feature exclusive discounts between March 24th and April 6th, as well as between May 29th and June 2nd, offering Prime rewards such as Nekros and Oberon Prime Dual Bundles and more. Booster weekends during this period will supercharge players’ Warframe experience with Affinity, Credit, and Resource Boosters scheduled to run in-game.
Digital Extremes is set for the return of TennoCon as a live in-person event on Saturday, August 26th, in its hometown of London, Ontario, Canada. Following a three-year hiatus of live events, the studio is thrilled to be returning to RBC Place in London where thousands of fans and players from around the world will gather and celebrate Warframe’s decade-long legacy together and see what else Digital Extremes has planned for the future.
This year will be an explosive return for TennoCon with plans to offer an exciting mix of in-person and virtual activations to unite Tenno everywhere and anywhere. Fans who reserve their spot at TennoCon will have a chance to join Digital Extremes for a fan-centric day filled with live panels, thrilling activations, and world exclusive studio reveals.
Those who can’t make it to the event in person need not worry, as Digital Extremes is preparing virtual activations as well. The studio plans to offer an exciting mix of in-person and virtual activations to unite Tenno everywhere and anywhere. In addition to TennoCon 2023 physical ticket sales, Digital Extremes also plans to offer a virtual pass for those who can’t make it to London.
