After a successful campaign on Kickstarter (the game raised over 36 000 CAD), Pyramid Games is releasing a free prologue of Dinosaur Fossil Hunter, which will be available on Steam on August 6th.
Dinosaur Fossil Hunter is a simulator, which allows you to play as a paleontologist traversing the western part of the United States in search of dinosaur fossils. In order to find new skeletons that will enrich your collection, you will search through vast territories, including water basins, and deal with different obstacles on the way. During the process, you will have many tools available, which will turn out helpful in both outdoor and in-lab activities, such as excavating, transporting and dusting off fragile bones. At the final stage, you will be able to present a complete dinosaur skeleton in a museum designed according to your vision.
Free prologue available on Steam on August 6th
We encourage you to download and test the free prologue of Dinosaur Fossil Hunter, which shows a longer bit of a beginner paleontologist’s story. Since the demo version, the prologue has received many upgrades, such as: a new site – garage, new dialogues, a minimap available while driving, new autosave points, new gameplay instructions, new bone cleaning stage + new tool, extended transportation system + descriptions of findings, and many more improvements and extras.
