Owlcat Games has released a new trailer showcasing previously unseen environments and locations in Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader. The trailer highlights the game’s faithful recreation of the iconic Warhammer 40,000 atmosphere from an isometric perspective, featuring gothic architecture, industrial cities in decay, and nightmarish penal colonies.
Among the vast areas to be explored, the Starport on the planet Rykad Minoris stands out, where giant statues of fallen heroes are juxtaposed with starship wreckage and ruined infrastructure. The trailer also unveils Commorragh, the Dark City, located deep within the Webway and home to the Drukhari, a notorious xenos faction known for their penchant for inflicting pain on captured victims during raids into realspace.
For the first time in Warhammer 40,000 video game history, players will have the opportunity to explore the shadowy citadel of the Kabals, Wych Cults, and Covens in Commorragh, where they must confront endless horrors and battle for survival.
Fans attending Warhammer Fest in Manchester from April 29 to May 1, 2023, will be among the first to see the Cassia statue, a highlight of the Collector’s Edition. Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader is now available for wishlisting on Steam and GOG, with players eagerly anticipating the game’s release.
