Modern Times Group MTG AB’s (publ.) (“MTG”) esports portfolio company DreamHack has today announced the launch of a new tournament series featuring Fortnite following the entering in a new agreement with Epic Games. The tournament – with a monthly prize pool of USD 250,000 and a total of USD 1.75 million – will to be broadcasted live on Twitch.

Fans throughout Europe and North America will be able to participate, the competitions are open for all and not invite based.
The kick-off edition will take place on July 17-19 and July 24-26th and following each month until January 2021 will follow a regular schedule on Thursdays and Fridays.
