Ars Technica has reported E3 2020 has been canceled citing various sources due to the Coronavirus with an official announcement coming soon. (COVID-19)
E3 launched its first event in 1995 and now boast to be the largest convention in the United States for the gaming industry.
Ars technical is citing multiple sources, companies, and groups who have already confirmed cancellation for E3 2020. The publication says an official announcement will come shortly.

If these rumors are true and E3 is actually getting cancelled this year, I really hope Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft and Square-Enix all still do pre-recorded conferences that week.
