Egypt Must Rise in Latest Rise of Kingdoms Update

Ancient Egypt enters the fray today in Lilith Games’ globally popular RTS game Rise of Kingdoms. Now, players can enjoy the many innovations developed by ancient Egypt and its people, along with powerful new leaders, including Cleopatra, Imhotep, and the great Pharoah Thutmose III.

Lilith Games, the creative minds behind hugely popular titles like AFK Arena and Warpath, announced today that the Rise of Kingdoms world is expanding even further. The popular MMOSLG title welcomes an exciting “new” playable civilization into the mix: ancient Egypt! Boasting vast cultural influences, new technology, architecture, and a robust new storyline, the “Egypt Must Rise!” update dramatically expands Rise of Kingdoms’ deep RTS gameplay and is available to players on both PC and mobile platforms.

Powerful, intelligent, strategic, and undoubtedly stylish, ancient Egypt ruled for almost 30 centuries before its conquest by Alexander the Great in 332 B.C. Now, their civilization and all their boons enter the scene in Rise of Kingdoms, giving players a whole new fascinating society to explore and lead to opulence. With its rich history of prosperity and affluence, the addition of ancient Egypt allows players to experience a whole new civilization to lead, grow, and flourish. Additionally, the update adds new Commanders, including Imhotep, an expert pyramid architect and high priest, and “The Warrior King” himself, Thutmose III.
