KOEI TECMO America and GUST Studios have launched the highly anticipated JRPG, Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key, on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 Computer Entertainment System, PlayStation 4 Computer Entertainment System, and Windows PC via Steam. This magical and captivating game takes players on an epic adventure filled with friendship, heart, and secrets. The lead writer of the original Atelier Ryza game, Yashichiro Takahashi, returns to the franchise to deliver the unforgettable third chapter in the Secret series.
Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key follows the adventures of the fan-favorite alchemist, Reisalin Stout, and her mischievous friends one year after the events of the previous game, Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy. The game begins with Ryza and her friends enjoying their peaceful lives on Kurken Island when they hear of mysterious islands appearing in nearby waters. These islands, known as Kark Isles, are having a negative effect on their homeland, and Ryza and her friends quickly set out to investigate. During their journey, they uncover a haunting voice that wants to lead them to the ‘Code of the Universe.’ But who is talking to Ryza, and what lies beyond the gate?
As players explore the vast regions, they will encounter four areas in a new “open field,” all explorable with seamless transitions. As they discover landmarks, hidden areas, and wildlife, players will also encounter randomly occurring quests. Throughout the adventure, players will reunite with characters from previous games and meet new friends who are pivotal to the story. In fact, Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key has one of the largest rosters in the series history, featuring a total of eleven party members.
To celebrate the game’s release, KOEI TECMO has revealed that DLC Pack 1 is available for purchase, featuring the “Endless Summer Splash” costume set, including 11 swimsuits (one for each character). Additional DLC packs, including recipe expansion packs and the new explorable region of “Rosca Island,” will be available for purchase in the coming months either individually or through the Season Pass.
Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key is also available in a Digital Deluxe Edition that includes the “Another Look” costume set, the “Back to Summer” costume set, and “Gem Packs” and “Key Packs” that are useful for the adventure. In addition to the contents of the Digital Deluxe Edition, the Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key Ultimate Edition includes the “Gust Collaboration” costume set and the “Atelier Ryza 3 Season Pass,” which allows players to download all the additional digital content available for purchase at a later date.
Furthermore, Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key also features an Early Purchase bonus. Anyone who purchases a physical or digital copy of the game within two weeks after launch will be able to download a special set of seven ‘Summer Look’ costumes. These costumes may be available for purchase at a later date.
