Hi,

We have unfortunately been made aware of an elaborate phishing scam using opportunities on the project ‘Smalland: Survive the Wilds’ to target both press and content creators. This scam is communicating via fake email addresses such as @smallandsurvivethewilds.com and a duplicated website that contains Malware.

Please be aware that legitimate communications will only come from Merge Games email addresses such as this, or directly from one of our official partners such as Hooligan PR, Fourth Floor, Better PR, and Masamune.

We are working to deal with the problem as quickly as possible, but please stay vigilant and do not download any attachments or files from anyone, anywhere claiming to be associated with ‘Smalland: Survive The Wilds’.

If you receive any suspicious communications or are unsure about the authenticity of any outreach you have received, please forward the email in question to us and we will be happy to assist.
