Epic Games’ Fortnite Battle Royale is taking players on a journey to a galaxy far, far away with the “Find the Force” event, which runs from today until May 23rd at 9 AM ET. In this limited-time event, players can choose their Jedi or Sith trainer and embark on quests, unlock cosmetic rewards, and explore new outfits in the Item Shop.
During the “Find the Force” event, players will have the opportunity to select either Obi-Wan Kenobi or Anakin Skywalker as their Jedi trainer, or embrace the dark side with Darth Maul as their Sith trainer. By completing Find the Force Quests, players can earn various cosmetic rewards, including the Clone Trooper Outfit, as part of the event’s free reward track. For those seeking even more rewards, the Premium Reward Track Upgrade is available for purchase and includes the Darth Maul Outfit. As part of the event, hologram versions of Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker, and Darth Maul will appear on the Island, offering players the chance to undergo Jedi or Sith training. This training will teach players how to wield a lightsaber and utilize Force abilities, such as push, pull, and throw. Depending on their chosen trainer, players will receive a green Jedi Padawan Lightsaber from Obi-Wan Kenobi, a blue one from Anakin Skywalker, or a red Sith Apprentice Lightsaber from Darth Maul. Moreover, Force training allows players to sprint faster and perform a double jump while their lightsaber is equipped.
The Fortnite Item Shop is also getting a Star Wars makeover during the “Find the Force” event, with the addition of Anakin Skywalker and Padmé Amidala Outfits, as well as the 501st Trooper and 212th Battalion Trooper Outfits. The Padmé Amidala Outfit also comes with an alternative Geonosis Combat Style, showcasing the character’s battle-worn appearance from the Star Wars saga.
