From May 24th to June 13th, players can join forces with over 20 Adventurers in open-world encounters to save Aeternum and earn daily event-specific rewards.
The Dryad Shamans have spread throughout the lands, appearing in Brightwood, Ebonscale Reach, Edengrove, Mourningdale, and Brimstone Sands. To stand a chance against these fearsome foes, players must construct Flame Braziers that will empower their weapons. With strengthened resolve and enhanced equipment, they can face the Fury of the Spriggan head-on and protect the natural order of Aeternum.
The lore surrounding this event is captivating. The Spriggan, a towering force of nature, strides through the forest with a rhythmic power that shakes the leaves but causes no harm to the ancient trees. Driven by a righteous fury, the Spriggan aims to eliminate all threats to nature’s purity, be it Ancient, Corrupted, or Human. The Earth has been restless since the reawakening of the Ennead, and now is the time for action. The Dryads have united to summon the mighty Spriggan, ready to unleash the fury of the Earth against those who would dare to poison and destroy its essence.
Victory against the Spriggan brings generous rewards. Each triumph grants players the opportunity to obtain level-appropriate procedural weapons or armor pieces with a 50% chance, guaranteed to be Rare or above. There is also a 30% chance of receiving an item from the Global Named List and a 20% chance of rolling an item from the Spriggan Arena Named List. Alongside these exciting rewards, players can expect various container resources, level-appropriate consumables, and 1 Obsidian Gypsum, keeping the spoils diverse and valuable.
In addition to the completion rewards, players can earn daily bonus rewards by defeating the Spriggan multiple times within a day. However, a maximum of 3 daily bonus rewards can be obtained, resetting at 5 AM local time. These daily bonus rewards include special Caches filled with event-specific loot. Each Cache contains an event-only Mossborne Weapon, guaranteed to have Weapon Appropriate Attribute + Empty Gem Slot + Angry Earth Bane Perk, and an event-only Mossborne Armor Piece, guaranteed to have Armor Weight Appropriate Attribute + Empty Gem Slot + Angry Earth Ward Perk. Other rewards in the Cache include 250 Umbral Shards, 3 to 5 Flame Cores, and additional rolls for exclusive Named items, perk resources, and even the chance to obtain the Spriggan Flame Brazier housing item.
