GamingLyfe Network presented a brand-new talkshow called “The Real Deal with Akil” on Tuesday, November 27th. The half-hour segment features Akil as a one-man show … full of witty slang, catchy rhymes, and cool enthusiasm. One of his most noteworthy lines, at both the start and end of the episode, was the quote-worthy statement of “gaming can heal.”

To kick things off, Akil discussed topics relating to GamingLyfe Network. He explained how GL Live will gift “chips” to viewers for every 10 minutes of watch-time. These can be used for “risk and reward” opportunities and (what sounds most enticing for followers) these chips can be put towards the Nintendo Switch drawing that will be held on Sunday, December 23rd.

Next on the agenda was general gaming news … The highly anticipated “Spyro Reignited” game trailer was played for viewers (as Akil fashioned a comically large dragon beanie). Then, what seems to be the biggest hype in gaming right now, “Red Dead Redemption 2” online was discussed as the beta version was released to gamers with early access. This Friday, November 30th, the western frontier will be available to the public (so dust off those boots, cowboys) … Next, Akil showed-off the Nintendo Switch while playing “Mario Kart 8 Deluxe” as Yoshi. GL Live even posted the “friend code” during the stream so viewers had the opportunity to play alongside the host.

To conclude the episode, Akil discussed “Jump Force” as its release is only a couples months away. Classic anime characters have been officially confirmed for the game, such as Rurouni Kenshin, Naruto, Goku, Ichigo, and many more. As for “Assassins Creed Odyssey,” the season pass and extensions packs will include expansive story arcs (such as The Gates of Atlantis). And for those who wanted to further enjoy the benefits of Cyber Monday, the Nintendo Switch upheld deals through the Wednesday the 28th … marking prices on “2k19,” “Doom,” and “Skyrim” at only $30 USD each.

Be sure to tune-in to “The Real Deal with Akil” via every Tuesday night at 6:00 PM PST. Viewers can enjoy up-to-date news about what’s trending in the gaming community … and also go to to experience additional GamingLyfe Network content.
