Global esports organization, Gen.G, today announced a new sponsorship agreement with SIDIZ, Korea’s number one chair manufacturer. Through the partnership, SIDIZ is providing gaming chairs to Gen.G teams who train at Seoul HQ — Seoul Dynasty, LoL, PUBG, HoTs and Overwatch Contenders.
The chair is one of most essential pieces of equipment for professional gamers and SIDIZ is amongst the best in the business as the chair brand of Korea’s top furniture company, Fursys. This collaboration allows Gen.G to supply players with best-in-class chairs, helping improve their performance and highlighting the organization’s commitment to giving players a state-of-the-art experience at Seoul HQ.
SIDIZ recognizes Gen.G as a leading global esports organization aiming to set ‘the gold standard of esports’ in all aspects, while engaging fans all around the world.
“Strong partners are an integral part of building a successful business so we are excited to announce this new sponsorship agreement with SIDIZ.” Said Arnold Hur, Chief Growth Officer, Gen.G Esports. “SIDIZ is number one in their industry and Gen.G strives to be number one in gaming, so it’s a perfect partnership.”
“The importance of the player’s chair in esports is significantly underestimated from a health and comfort perspective because they spend so much time sitting down. As one of the most advanced chair brands, SIDIZ is the right partner for us.” Explained Edward Choi, Head of Marketing, Gen.G Esports. “Together with SIDIZ, we are aiming to supply our teams with the ergonomically designed chairs and create diverse marketing content that promotes both Gen.G and SIDIZ to consumers and gamers alike.”
“Through our partnership with Gen.G, we hope that SIDIZ will contribute to the development of the gaming industry,” said Son Tae-Il, CEO of SIDIZ. “I’m particularly excited to have the opportunity to provide a new sense of immersion for everyone who loves games.”
SIDIZ will join Gen.G’s wider lineup of partners, which includes accounting firm Mirae Asset Venture Investment, gaming hardware manufacturer Razer, and computer networking company NETGEAR.
