Gen.G, global leader and esports industry pioneer, announced today the signing of US-based Call of Duty esports squad Team Space to compete in the Call of Duty World League. The move further establishes the Los Angeles, CA and Seoul, Korea based esports organization as an industry leader, adding another top-tier team to a deep roster that includes Seoul Dynasty of the Overwatch League and Gen.G’s League of Legends team.
“We are thrilled to announce this new team that will make a great addition to our organization,” said Nathan Stanz, Gen.G General Manager. “I knew from my first meeting with them that this was the right team to sign to Gen.G. With their unique combination of experience, hunger, and teamwork we expect them to only get better from here.”

This team caught the attention of Gen.G due to their recent successes and accomplishments during the CWL Pro League Qualifier event. Gen.G is constantly scouting the best talent in esports and this group proved to be the perfect fit due to their competitive nature.
Gen.G’s new Call of Duty World League team will have access to all of Gen.G’s resources including the future Los Angeles headquarters. Gen.G will provide the team with all support needed to have a successful season.

The team will be competing under the Gen.G banner at the CWL Pro League, where the sixteen best professional Call of Duty esports teams compete across a twelve-week regular season to battle for placement into the CWL Finals. CWL Pro League begins on February 4, 2019, and broadcasts Monday – Thursday.
