Global Talent Shines at the Game Development World Championship 2022: Winners Announced

The Game Development World Championship 2022 (GDWC), the world’s premier game development competition, concluded on April 22nd, with over 3,600 games submitted from 145 countries. The GDWC 2022 experienced its most successful year yet, with an unprecedented number of participants and categories. David Branco, the community manager, highlighted the significant enhancements made to promote and showcase standout games within the GDWC community, providing developers an opportunity to connect with gamers seeking their next hidden gem.

With the support of its sponsors and partners, the GDWC provided a prize pool of over $120,000 for the 2022 competition. Rewards included cash prizes, software licenses, and top prizes of flights to the GDWC’s home country of Finland.
