Grand Theft Auto 6, What Features to Keep from 5

It’s quite possible that there have been more GTA 6 rumors than any other game title ever. This has been exacerbated by the fact that both Sony and Microsoft announced that their next-generation consoles, the PS6 and Xbox Series X, are arriving later this year. But what features should the new game keep from GTA V?

Take a gamble

With no playable casino in the story mode GTA V map, gamers had to get their fix from an online casino like https://www.novibet.co.uk/casino. That is until the Diamond Casino & Resort opened on GTA Online in July 2019. This update gave players the opportunity to enter the massive and luxurious Diamond Casino and play the slots, have a go of the table games, and even bet on horses at the Inside Track betting area. If you don’t feel like gambling your hard-earned money away at the casino, you could always pull off a heist instead! Having the casino really does add an extra angle of realistic entertainment for gamers and we think the Diamond Casino & Resort, or a newer, differently branded version of it, should be a feature of the GTA 6 story mode map so everyone can enjoy it.

Multiple storylines

One of the features of GTA V that was so incredibly innovative, when it was released back in 2013, was the ability to change between the three main characters at will. One moment, you could be walking the streets of the hood as Franklin and the next, be living the high life in your very own mansion and swimming pool as Michael De Santa. For those who prefer a simpler way of life, playing as a hillbilly, and Michael’s partner in crime, Trevor Phillips is always a barrel of laughs. The thing that really set GTA V apart from all other games at the time, and even now, is the fact that you can effectively play three different, but overlapping, storylines all within the same game. This really makes the game great value for money and hopefully, this feature is carried over into GTA 6.

Customization

The ability to change how your player looks and dresses aren’t new in the GTA franchise and have, in fact, been a feature of the last several installments. The thing that does change in this respect, however, is the sheer amount of choice the player has when it comes to choosing how they want their player to look. GTA V’s host city of Los Santos is modeled on the real-life city of Los Angeles, so it’s no surprise to see a huge selection of clothing stores to visit in the game, giving players the chance to truly customize their character’s look. Another fantastic feature is the ability to customize and tune up cars. You can take the most boring car in the game and transform it into a super street racer, providing you have the capital to pay for it. Long gone are the days of GTA III, where the only car customizing you could do was to get your car spray-painted to a different color, which you couldn’t even choose!

There are, of course, many fantastic features that the GTA developers, Rockstar Games, should be looking to carry on over into GTA 6, but these top our list.
