Green Hell’s Console Update Brings Animal Husbandry and More to PlayStation and Xbox Platforms

Creepy Jar’s critically acclaimed survival title, Green Hell, is receiving the highly anticipated Animal Husbandry Update for console players on PlayStation and Xbox platforms. The free update, which was previously exclusive to PC players since August last year, allows players to tame and breed various creatures in the game, such as capybaras, tapirs, and peccaries.

The update also includes new features and quality-of-life improvements from the Name your Pet Update and the Plant Naming patch. Creepy Jar’s commitment to delivering new content and refining the console gaming experience led them to enhance the Animal Husbandry Update further before its release on consoles.

As part of Green Hell’s 2022 roadmap, the Animal Husbandry update offers more than just the ability to breed animals. Players can now use the all-new blowpipe weapon to hunt capybaras, peccaries, and tapirs by safely putting them to sleep. Once subdued, players can keep these animals in pens built at their bases, take care of them, earn their trust, feed them, clean their living quarters, and potentially breed them if they have both male and female animals in captivity. Players can also pet their new animal companions.

The blowpipe weapon can be utilized for defense against other animals and human enemies as well. Players can immobilize threats either immediately or over time, depending on the size of their target.

In addition to the aforementioned creatures, the Animal Husbandry update introduces the ability to capture and breed bees. Players can keep bees in beehives and harvest valuable honey from them. However, it’s worth noting that petting the bees is not recommended.

With the release of the Animal Husbandry Update, console players can now enjoy the same immersive experience as their PC counterparts. As Green Hell continues to evolve and expand, players can look forward to more updates and improvements in the future.

Platforms: Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Microsoft Windows
