Gripper to Receive Additional Difficulty Options and Quality of Life Improvements Post-Launch

Following the recent launch of the action-packed boss rush game Gripper, developer Heart Core LTD is working on several quality of life updates to enhance the player experience. Responding to fan feedback, the Gripper team plans to introduce additional difficulty options, UI additions, and other improvements.

Heart Core CEO Kirill Zolovkin stated that the company’s primary goal is to deliver the best possible experience to fans, and they are eager to implement the upgrades based on player feedback.

Three new difficulty options—Normal, Hard, and Impossible—will be added to the game, which currently features a single standard difficulty. These options aim to cater to players of varying skill levels. Furthermore, the Tunnels sections will now include checkpoints for Normal and Hard difficulties, and health pack regeneration rates in Boss battles will increase.

  • Added difficulty modes
  • Checkpoints in the Tunnels
  • More predictable Shock Tunnel Spikes
  • Increased health pack refill rate
  • Adjustments to Boss Shock, Boss Anger, and Boss Zero
  • Bug fixes for Boss Depression
  • Skin Unlock tips added
  • Quests Victory screen added
  • Fixed achievements unlock conditions
  • Consumable usage bugs fixed
  • Japanese audio correct detection available
  • DX12 selection in the RTX menu
  • “RTX requires DX12” tip/switch added

In Gripper, players assume the role of None, a cyber biker trapped in a collapsing world. To save the world from the AI known as Zero, None must race through post-apocalyptic landscapes, explore dead lands with his mechanized cat companion Cat-Kit, and defeat challenging bosses by gripping and ripping out their hearts.
