Hell of an Office, a satanic-themed first-person platformer developed by 43 Studios and published by Joystick Ventures, expands its infernal workplace today with the “Necktie Negligences” update. As the first major content addition during its Early Access phase, this update introduces a series of new challenges and gameplay mechanics, promising an even more engaging experience for players.

The “Necktie Negligences” update adds 20 challenging new levels, divided between two distinct circles of hell. The first circle, Corporate Glaciers, features an icy environment filled with water-cooler obstacles, while the second circle, Employment Risk Cliffs, emphasizes the importance of office supply safety in a perilous setting.

A key gameplay addition in this update is the Necktie-Hook, a versatile tool designed for grappling. By utilizing the Necktie-Hook, players can latch onto ethereal, glowing coat hangers, allowing them to navigate the treacherous levels with ease and speed.

In addition to the new levels and gameplay mechanics, the update offers further customization options for the game’s signature rocket-jump stapler. Players can now unlock a variety of skins to personalize their in-game experience. Moreover, the update introduces new lore elements, revealed through conversations with the enigmatic character Mr. Stapley, the master paper compiler.

Players are encouraged to maximize their work productivity output by completing all time records, with the ultimate goal of earning a highly-coveted pat on the back from upper management. This added incentive should motivate players to hone their skills and push their limits within the game.

Hell of an Office is currently available on Steam Early Access for Windows PCs, priced at $9.99 USD. The game supports the English language and is expected to receive further updates and enhancements throughout its Early Access development period. With the release of the “Necktie Negligences” update, Hell of an Office continues to provide an entertaining and immersive experience for fans of first-person platformers and satirical takes on office life.
