HEXWORKS Announces Release Date for Dark-Fantasy Action RPG ‘Lords of the Fallen’ with All-New Trailer

HEXWORKS, a CI Games studio, has revealed that the highly anticipated dark-fantasy action RPG, Lords of the Fallen, will be available worldwide on Friday 13th October, 2023. Serving as a full reboot for the franchise, this upcoming game, developed in Unreal Engine 5, promises to take players on an epic journey through a vast and treacherous world. Pre-orders for the game are now live on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.

The release date announcement was accompanied by a thrilling four-minute trailer, offering fans an extended glimpse into the game’s gruesome gameplay. With fast-paced and challenging combat, as well as colossal boss battles, players will traverse the parallel worlds of the living and the dead in their quest to overthrow Adyr, the demon God.

To further intensify the excitement, the new trailer features music by the legendary heavy metal band, Iron Maiden. Viewers can expect a multitude of terrifying encounters, from three-headed dragons to lava-spewing fire giants. For those undaunted by such horrors, pre-orders for Lords of the Fallen are now available in three editions: Standard, Deluxe, and Collector’s. The game is available in three different editions, each offering distinct bonuses and content. The Standard Edition includes the base game, while the Deluxe Edition, available in both physical and digital formats, includes additional perks such as the Dark Crusader Starting Class, a 100-page digital artbook, a digital soundtrack, and a 3D model viewer. The Collector’s Edition, available only in physical format, provides the most comprehensive package, featuring a 10-inch Dark Crusader figurine, a metal display case with LED mood lighting, a Collector’s SteelBook, a 100-page physical artbook, and more.

All pre-orders, regardless of the edition, come with exclusive bronze, silver, and gold armor tincts, as well as XP, HP, and MP items to aid players on their journey through the treacherous world of Lords of the Fallen.
