HORIZON CHASE CELEBRATES ITS 5TH ANNIVERSARY

Horizon Chase celebrates its 5th Anniversary with a new selection of Weekly Challenges and a special time-limited skin for all its playerbase. From August 20th to September 1st, pilots who complete the additional challenges will get a black version of the iconic Cruiser added to their car collection.

These rewards and challenges are available for everyone who downloads the game, even if they’re still enjoying the free to try experience. For those who want to upgrade to the Premium Version, we’re offering it for the lowest price possible on the App Store and the Google Play Store – with more than 60% off – from August 20th to August 27th (which vary depending on the region).

By unlocking the full experience, players gain access to 95 tracks in 41 cities, a set of 10 Cups, more than 20 unlockable cars and an expanded selection of tracks on the Weekly Challenges.

A HISTORIC MILESTONE

When AQUIRIS released Horizon Chase in 2015, we wanted to recreate the classic feeling of the arcade racing games our team grew up playing. The experience had to have a modern look and feel, with a fast and responsive gameplay well adapted to touchscreens.

When we were developing it, there was a strong confidence about the high quality of the game, whose creation steps were documented on our Tumblr. 5 years later, the reception it received continues to amaze us. With more than 50 million downloads so far, Horizon Chase became a reference point for racing games on mobile platforms,  featuring in renowned press outlets such as Touch Arcade and Pocket Gamer and counting more than 800 press appearances so far.

A YEAR FULL OF UPDATES

In 2020, Horizon Chase continued to evolve and received new updates in gratitude to our dedicated players. In April the game got a complete interface redesign giving it a modern look and feel. We’ve also added an expanded free to try experience with 30 tracks, 6 unlockable cars and new Weekly Challenges that offer players ways to expand their car skins collections.

In May, we travelled to Porto Alegre with the Devs Hometown Update, which included two new tracks in the Brazilian Cup, a new car — Minuano — and a new music track. In an unprecedented collaboration between Barry Leitch and Kleiton & Kledir, a special version of “Deu Pra Ti” topped off the update.

For the near future, Horizon Chase is preparing a new in-game store that will offer additional cosmetic items to enrich the player’s racing experiences. Our team is also at work on our biggest DLC update yet, about which we will be able to share more information soon.
