- Vive partnered with BANDAI NAMCO to launch the first US Mario Kart VR installation in Washington DC. This follows openings in Tokyo and London.

Additionally, Vive sponsored Amazon’s developer bootcamp where participants learned how to get started with Sumarian, Amazon’s AR/VR/3D development application.
- Vive was announced as a sponsor for Amazon’s Sumerian AR/VR Challenge running until January 2019.
