HyperX, the gaming division of Kingston Technology Company, Inc., today announced HyperX is the official peripherals sponsor of the China Dota2 SUPERMAJOR tournament, organized by PGL and Perfect World. HyperX has been sponsoring PGL- presented gaming tournaments for several years and supports the global gaming community, like this event being held in Shanghai. The China Dota2 SUPERMAJOR will be held in Shanghai. It is the final Major of the Dota 2 Pro Circuit. Sixteen of the best teams in the world will compete for a prize pool of $1.5 million USD and 2250 DPC points. Group stage takes place on June 2 – 3, playoffs will be June 4 – 10, and the final two days of the main event, June 9 – 10, will take place in the Yuanshen Gymnasium next to then Yuanshen Sports Centre Stadium.
Several of the teams sponsored by HyperX, including Team Liquid, Natus Vincere, and Vici Gaming are participating in the China Dota2 SUPERMAJOR presented by PGL.
