Renowned printmaker Kathleen Neeley has created a striking linocut print of Geralt and Roach that pays homage to the famed monster hunter and his faithful steed while also referencing other important characters that Geralt keeps close to his heart.
Geralt and Roach are the focal points of this print, but the piece is filled with additional details and references. Bones both human and monstrous appear beneath Roach’s reliable hooves, while birds, a rabbit, and other forms of life show that there’s still beauty and vitality in Geralt’s often brutal world. Near the top of the print, a striking red emblem merges Geralt’s wolf symbol with Ciri’s swallow and Yennefer’s Obsidian Star — bold reminders of their intertwined fates.
This incredible hand-printed piece is limited to 150 signed and numbered prints. Each of these unique prints is produced on acid-free Okawara Paper, measuring 10-by-14 inches, and includes a hand-numbered 5-by-7 inch artist card.
