Indie Celebration Festival Tiny Teams Announces Return

Upcoming event shines a spotlight on over 100 games from some of the industry’s smallest studios.

Yogscast is proud to confirm the return of the Tiny Teams festival next week, celebrating a line-up of over 100 indie games developed by some of the world’s most talented micro-studios.

Returning for its third year and taking place on Steam and Twitch between August 1st – 8th, 2022 Tiny Teams 2022 shines the spotlight on exciting indie games created by a core team of 5 people or less, ranging from some of the world’s best-known indie titles to up-and-coming games developed by solo devs and tiny studios.

The festival has previously served as a great platform for players to discover upcoming games developed by small studios, with some games featured at Tiny Teams, such as Peglin and Escape Simulator, later going on to achieve great success. Yogscast Games’ next release, the upcoming PlateUp!, was also discovered at last year’s Tiny Teams.

Some of the games featured in this year’s Tiny Teams event include Rimworld, Cruelty Squad, Noita, Escape Simulator, Eastward, Planet Crafter, Stardew Valley, Dyson Sphere Program, Stackland, Cloudpunk, Unpacking, Black Book, Inscryption, and Core Keeper along with many, many more.

The line-up of games will feature in a special Tiny Teams events hub on Steam, while many will be streamed live on Twitch throughout the festival by The Yogscast team. Certain games will also have playable demos available to download, while a special Steam sale will give players exciting discounts on a variety of Tiny Teams games.

“Tiny Teams was created to help smaller studios shine a spotlight on their amazing new games while celebrating the incredible success achieved by some of the world’s smallest dev teams,” said Alex Turner, Founder of Tiny Teams. “The response to this year’s event has been overwhelming, and it’s been a thrill to see some of the brilliant new games currently being developed by talented micro-studios. We can’t wait to celebrate their hard work with Tiny Teams next week.”
