The bots are out of control – literally! Solo developer Leander Edler-Golla and Yogscast Games are thrilled to announce that Bots Are Stupid, an innovative instruction-based platformer will release on PC in November. A playable demo is available to download now on Steam for a limited time.

Bots Are Stupid is an ultra-precise 2D platformer where you give bots simple instructions to run, jump, use grappling hooks, navigate speed boosts, and more by typing a series of commands, rather than directly controlling them. Keep your code clean and complete each level using the minimum amount of commands, or run wild and generate over-the-top ways to reach the goal.

Command your bot through increasingly complex levels using simple, easy-to-learn instructions, or create your own levels to share with your friends using the intuitive level editor.

Command-Based Platforming – Command your bots to run, jump and use equipment by typing simple, easy-to-learn instructions, rather than having direct control of your character.
Level Editor – Get creative with the in-game level editor, and create and share your own bot-defying levels with friends online.
Global Leaderboards – With Watchable Replays! – Experiment with different routes and instructions to command your bot through each level in the fastest time possible, or watch how others have achieved their world-beating times by replaying their scripts.
